Garrett Mallon

As a designer maker goldsmith I have been involved in the jewellery industry for over twenty five years, working in gold, silver and platinum often incorporating precious and semi-precious stones.

My jewellery is 3D in nature and often combines different metals and finishes and is accompanied by story cards with details on the inspiration behind the pieces.

My work is available in quality outlets throughout Ireland, UK, Europe and USA. After training and working in London and Dublin I set up my home and workshop on the shores of Carlingford Lough.

In 2014 I set up Carlingford Design House with a purpose-built open-to-view workshop and jewellery school. I run short jewellery courses and the small class sizes allow dedicated attention

Carlingford Design House has also allowed me to showcase the work of over 40 other Irish designer makers from a range of disciplines. Many of these makers are friends and colleagues and we are delighted to bring their work to a new audience. We have ceramics, wall art, prints, textiles, jewellery, wood, candles and organic soaps and much more on view.
